East Anglian Group of Marine Artists Resignations
This week after nearly ten years of membership I resigned from the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists. Membership of the group has created many opportunities for exhibiting work both in East Anglia and London. I have made many friends and particularly enjoyed the challenge of serving on the committee. However after the recent AGM the group has been severly damaged and several members have resigned, including five of the six committee members.
What a shame, as we had a great group which worked hard to show a good mix of traditional and contemporary marine art. Now it seems to me that many of the forward thinking artists are no longer part of the group and I wonder how long it will survive.
